The Weissensee, with a lenght of 11,5km, is the cleanest swimming lake with drinking water quality. The water temperature raises up to 25 ° C in the summer. About 2/3 of ist bank is natural and unspoilt. In the wintert he lake becomes the largest natural ice-surface in whole Europe.
